Labour’s Lindsay Roy takes a (golf) swing at SNP opponent

Lindsay RoyLindsay Roy Labour's candidate in Glenrothes today took a swing at his political opponent, Cllr Peter Grant for his proposed cuts and privatisation of municpal golf courses in Fife.

Speaking at Wellsgreen Golf Range near Windygates where he was getting a golf lesson from his son Allan with the clubs he won at a recent Fife raffle he said:

"The cuts from SNP led Fife Council are hitting at every level of public service in the Kingdom of Fife.  SNP proposals to cutback on provision leading to privatisation are yet another round of cuts that the taxpayers of Fife do not want."

John Park MSP Labour List MSP for Mid Scotland & Fife said:  "Its time Cllr Peter Grant stopped cutting public services in Fife and started telling the SNP Government in Edinburgh to cough up for services - the broken Historic Concordant from Edinburgh is selling people in Fife short"
