John Park MSP was promoted to Shadow Cabinet Secretary without Portfolio (Election and Campaigns) in October 2009.

Her was previously shadow skills and economy minister. His success as being one of the two lead politicians in the Glenrothes by-election means his role will now expand to provide political responsibility for the 2011 Scottish Elections.
