Drew Smith studied at Aberdeen, Glasgow and the Open universities.
Drew has previously worked for Labour in the Scottish Parliament and at Westminster and in the voluntary sector, most recently specialising as a policy and communications official for a health promotion and environmental organisation. He has also worked in theatre, bars and as a lifeguard.
Drew lives in Woodside in Glasgow and is a Member of the Scottish Parliament for Glasgow Region, he was elected on 5 May 2011.
Drew is a member of the Public Audit Committee and also the Subordinate Legislation Committee
